About Me
I am a calm, friendly and professional Counsellor, and I believe passionately in helping others to improve their mental health and quality of life.
Counselling can vary dramatically, depending on the Counsellor – the type of counselling they offer, and who they are as an individual.
It is very important to find the Counsellor who suits you; who offers you the kind of counselling, the kind of support, that you need at this time, and who you feel comfortable enough with to explore your current situation with.
I am a registered member of the professional body, the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy, and I work in-line with their ethics and standards, ensuring that my practice is ethical and safe for my clients. I also hold an up-to-date enhanced DBS certificate.
I have experience of offering short-term counselling (6-8 sessions), and long-term counselling (open ended). In my current practice I offer largely longer-term counselling but we can discuss this at your initial session and decide what suits you best at this time.
